Thinking back to the time I spent in Poland this month, I remember the sensation of feeling a bit more at ease… The time there had its own challenges but while analyzing everything retrospectively, I now understand how the presence of signs of Ukraine made me feel closer to my native country. Especially in Krakow, as it’s so close to the border - Ukrainian flags on every single corner, restaurants and shops showing their support, the incredible volunteers at the train station… 1. Why "Ukraine" and not "the Ukraine"? ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Some of you might have seen the video about a “brave” news reporter who decided to switch sides by showing an anti-war poster on Russian “live” television. This is the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków.⁣ 🇷🇺❗️A message especially to those people, who have Russian friends and family. All of these examples are based on real messages my friends or I have received within these last days.
